Quedlinburg, located in Saxony-Anhalt, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a living architectural timeline. With over 2,000 half-timbered houses dating from every century between the 14th and 20th! This is one of the largest collections in all of Germany, well-preserved thanks to the town’s survival through the centuries without major war damage. The town was first mentioned in 922 AD and played an important role in the Roman Empire.

This incredible heritage is one of the reasons UNESCO listed Quedlinburg as a World Heritage Site.

With a population of just 24,000 people, the town feels like stepping into another world. Its winding cobblestone lanes, market squares, timber-framed houses, and centuries-old churches create a magical atmosphere. During December, Quedlinburg transforms into a winter wonderland... Take a walk around the old town and Christmas market stalls and enjoy it for yourself!
