কোনো সরকার দুর্নীতি ও অনিয়মকে সহযোগিতা করলে ব্যাংকিং খাত ঘুরে দাঁড়ানো সম্ভব হবে না বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের গভর্নর আহসান এইচ মনসুর। মঙ্গলবার রাজধানীতে ডিজিটাল পেমেন্ট সেবা গুগল পে'র উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে একথা বলেন গভর্নর। কোনোভাবেই টাকার অবমূল্যায়ন হতে দেয়া হবে না বলেও জানান।

Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H. Mansur has said that the banking sector will not be able to recover if any government supports corruption and irregularities. The governor said this at the inauguration ceremony of digital payment service Google Pay in the capital on Tuesday. He also said that the currency will not be allowed to devalue in any way.
