Corsets and your Organs | Lucy's Corsetry

How corseting affects the organs and breathing in the body
The organs most affected are those in the peritoneal cavity (Stomach, Liver, Spleen and most of the Intestines)
The organs less affected are those in the retroperitoneal cavity (kidneys, adrenals, most of the pancreas, some parts of the colon)
The pericardial organs (heart and major blood vessels) are likely not moved by corseting.
Movement of the diaphragm and lower lungs are somewhat restricted by corseting.
