Today we are guests at the Museumbuurtspoorweg. Our train is pulled by the Belgian locomotive Magda, built in 1925 by SA des Ateliers de Construction de la Meuse in Sclessin-Liège. This machine has been restored by the MBS and painted in the colors of the NCS, the Nederlandsche Centraal Spoorwegmaatschappij. This company painted all its locomotives in this striking color, but none of these have survived. So special to see this unique locomotive drive!
The train is driven by two NS colleagues. Thanks to them, and of course to all the other employees of the MBS who made this film possible.
