In this video, we explore the legendary Sinhagad Fort, Pune (सिंहगड किला) — one of the most historic and scenic forts in Maharashtra.
We started early morning at 5 AM and went for a Sinhagad Fort trek, enjoying beautiful sunrise views, fresh mountain air, and the rich history of this iconic fort.

Sinhagad Fort, earlier known as Kondana, is more than 2000 years old and is famous for the historic battle fought by Veer Tanaji Malusare.
When Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj heard about Tanaji’s sacrifice, he said the iconic line — “Gad aala, pan Sinha gela.”

This trek is perfect for beginners, weekend travelers, and fitness lovers.
Along with trekking, we also enjoyed local Maharashtrian food like pithla-bhakri, dahi, taak, bhariit, and experienced the peaceful vibe of the Sahyadri ranges.
