According to him, the project left Maharashtra when the Shinde-led Shiv Sena rebel MLAs overthrew the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi administration. On Saturday, the Shiv Sena and its youth wing, Yuva Sena, planned a demonstration against the cancellation of the semiconductor project in Talegaon in the Pune district, which was to be the location of its construction. He joked that the Shinde administration wasn't a "sarkar," but rather a circus. He asserted that not even the state's industry minister was aware that the state had lost the Vedanta and a bulk medicines park project.
