The legacy of social activist Swami Agnivesh

Описание: Social activist and Arya Samaj leader Swami Agnivesh died days before turning 81. His work through his foundation Bandhua Mukti Morcha (BMM) led to the release of thousands of bonded labourers from factories, brick kilns and construction sites. Agnivesh went on to join politics on a Janata Party ticket in Haryana but his political stint didn't last. Swami Agnivesh is among the handful of people to win the Right Livelihood Award (2004) from India.
