Explore Dunwich, known as The Lost City with me.
So much more than just a stretch of Suffolk Coast, in Medieval times it was a huge port, with a population of over 4000. Today all that remains are the ruins of the 13th Century Priory, the pub, a museum and a population of 120.
19 churches and 2 hospitals have all gone into the sea, and Folklore talks of Bells ringing when the sea is rough, and of bones sticking out of the cliffs.
The last church went overboard in 1919.
