It doesn't get any better than to ride America's MotoGP circuit just a couple of weeks prior the real fast guys coming to Austin, Texas. Here I am riding the Speed Triple for the first time at COTA and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, I had a mechanical mishap that prevented me from riding it most the sessions, which was a good excuse to bring out the old trusty S1000XR. The times will tell you which one was faster, but to the XR's credit, it was on street brake pads and I could not push it as hard as I wanted.
