Looking for a high school beginning or end-of-the-year summer themed art project that will engage your students and save you time? Look no further! This super fun summer-themed art lesson is so versatile.

This lesson uses the images from my Summer Themed NeuroDoodle Art Lesson. If you have this lesson, then this is a great idea for an easy way to repurpose those images to create colorful marker and watercolor line drawing masterpieces. However, you can use any images you wish to do this project.

In this video, we use watercolor, pen and ink, and markers to create these colorful summer themed art pieces.

The end of the year in art can be tough. Having mystery grid drawing worksheets on hand for a quick one day activity can be a lifesaver for emergency sub plans or half days. Students love to guess each others designs so having lots of different worksheets is so much fun.

This video shows how to create summer themed designs but you can use any themed images to do this lesson.
