This head has three 12AX7s in its wheelhouse, along with massive tone-shaping mojo. You get a gain control, active bass, passive mids, active treble, a 5-position active mid-voicing switch, and, of course, a master volume. But there's much more (including a footswitchable, assignable, or bypassable 9-band Graphic EQ). No wonder it's called the Bass Strategy.
