Day 5 and 6 of filming Rooted!
June 16 - In Jaffna we met a Parai player who performs at funerals and temples. From here we traveled to Jaffna University for research and b-roll footage. The Parai player we met earlier in the day took us to a village temple to capture them drumming in a traditional style for a religious setting.
June 17 - After visiting the Thirukoneswaram temple, a temple important to Hindu lore, we drove to the Eastern province of Sri Lanka.
