Zhonghe Wetland Park is located in the east side of the intersection of South Bypass Highway and Jinjiang River in Zhonghe Neighborhood of Chengdu High-tech Zone, which belongs to Zhonghe Wetland Section of Jincheng Greenway and is adjacent to Guixi Ecological Park and Little Egret Bay Wetland Park. The total area of Zhonghe Wetland Park is more than 3,000 mu, consisting of the lake section, wetland section and forest section. The park is landscaped to shape the water system and wetlands, which bear the function of flooding and watershed management, into an ecological landscape. The park involves 3 kilometers of primary greenways and 13.2 kilometers of secondary greenways, which link up several scenes in the park. Zhonghe Wetland Park officially opens on May 1, 2020.
