I Finally Drove Phoenix’s Most Famous Mountain Road

In this video, I take you along Summit Road as we climb our way up one of the most popular scenic drives in the Valley. From winding switchbacks and desert views to historic overlooks and hiking trail access points, we’ll explore what makes this mountain such a favorite for both locals and visitors.

Along the way, I’ll share a bit of the history behind South Mountain Park, show you some of the best stops you shouldn’t miss, and of course — we’ll make our way to Dobbins Lookout for one of the best panoramic views of Phoenix.

But that’s not all… we’ll also head over to a few lesser-known viewpoints, including my personal favorite — Gila Valley Lookout.
