Legendary drummer and producer Les Brown, Jr. has been in the studio this week playing drums on an upcoming release from Hindsight Records of enhanced and restored versions of a previously unreleased collection Doris Day recordings from 1952 titled "Doris Day with Love." The orchestration is being produced and mixed by John Forbes out of Studio B. We sat Les down just to talk about the record, and we left with half an hour full of stories about his father, The Band of Renown, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bob Hope, Page Cavanaugh, and--of course--Doris Day.
