Award of Presidential Citation to No 2 Squadron in Vietnam

Описание: This RAAF PR/TV news item is a general coverage of the Presidential Citation award to No. 2 Squadron. The citation was won for distinguished service which began 27 years ago in the Northern Territory during the Second World War. The text of the citation states that the award was made to No. 2 Squadron for having distinguished itself in outstanding performance of duty in the period 18 April 1942 to 25 August 1942. General George S. Brown, Commanding General US 7th Air Force, presented the citation to No. 2 Squadron, RAAF, which at this date, July 1969 is stationed at Phan Rang South Vietnam.
