A quick video to show how to repair a self inflating Oceanic Reliant BCD inflator.
It's probably a good idea to replace the whole inflator unit if you have trouble, it comes with new rubber washers for the dump valve, as you can see from the video mine are showing wear (these have not been replaced since purchased). I like how they even include the cable ties in the replacement kit.
The main aim of this repair was to have a spare (save a dive), I have 2 BCDs that have the same inflator, so it is handy for me to have a spare on hand.
It's also interesting to see how the device is made & how it works.
