Cloudchord (Derek VanScoten) is a producer, guitarist, and genre-bending architect of atmospheric dance and chillhop, blending jazz, classical guitar, and left-field hip-hop into a blissfully hypnotic sound that has earned over 100 million streams and an Emmy for his documentary scoring work. Through lush releases like Bloom Bap and collaborations with artists such as Emancipator and Big Gigantic, he continues to crystallize a signature style of rolling grooves and dense melody while delivering engaging live performances and expanding the possibilities of electronic music.
Youngteam
Will’s relationship with the guitar began early and quickly grew into a lifelong pursuit of musical expression, shaped by jazz studies with LA session icon Steve Watson and further refined at the New School for Jazz in New York. After four years touring the world as Twenty One Pilots’ playback engineer, he now works in Los Angeles as a session guitarist and producer, bringing rare technical precision, deep musicality, and a distinctive melodic voice that elevates every collaboration.
