Описание: What is bánh tét? Banh tet is a Vietnamese rice cake, a staple dish served to celebrate the Lunar New Year in Vietnam. It's a popular dish in Vietnamese culture year round, and if you live near an Asian market or deli, you'll probably be able to give banh tet a try, and I recommend you do. Bánh tét is a cake of sticky rice filled with pork and mung bean paste, wrapped tightly and tied in a banana leaf and then boiled in water for at least six hours. It's super tasty, sweet and sticky and kind of addictive. Give it a try and tell me what you think!
