India - Agra, Varanasi & Kolkata

Part 2 of my trip to India is here 🇮🇳

This video covers the second half of my trip where I visit Agra, Varanasi and Kolkata.

Agra is famous for one thing only really, the Taj Mahal. Getting to see this in person was amazing and it’s great to tick another world wonder of the bucket list ✅

Varanasi is considered to be one of the holiest places in India for Hindu’s, and you really get that vibe as soon as you get there. All along the Ganges there are people praying, bodies burning (in some areas), and spiritual people everywhere. It’s a really unique place.

Kolkata gave me a chance to meet Soumya, someone I’ve worked with for years but not actually met in person. It was awesome to finally get the chance to hang out. He showed me around the city, took me to his home where I had dinner with his family, and we even managed to watch India in the T20 cricket World Cup going on at the moment, which was an awesome experience. Kolkata also gave me a moment to slow down and take it easy for a few days, I haven’t really done that the last 6 weeks.

Next I’m onto Vietnam, which I’m really looking forward to. A new culture and a change of scenery.
