China tells US - Release Maduro and his wife at once

Описание: China sent a clear message to the United States at the UN Security Council meeting on Jan. 5, following Washington's military action on Caracas. "Release Maduro and his wife at once," and "stop toppling the Government of Venezuela."

Sun Lei, Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, gave a solid rebuke to Washington's actions and made it clear that China stands by the United Nation's charter and firmly opposes the use of force against Maduro's government.

China called for the immediate release of President Maduro and his wife, who were both forcefully taken by US forces on Sat. Jan 3.
