Jameelah Jones, a self-described "foundational thinker," offers a simple yet compelling metaphor as to how we should view privilege within society and within ourselves. Inspired by the social sphere of the playground, Jameelah compares the dynamics of a See-Saw to the dynamics of oppression.
As a graduate student at the University of Kansas, Jameelah Jones worked as the first Director of Diversity and Inclusion for Student Senate. Jameelah, a life-long advocate for social justice, works with groups within campus and all across the country to foster inclusion and to advocate for equality.
