International Open University presents 'Conquering Community Service'.
This session will highlight the need for community service in today’s world from an Islamic perspective, highlighting the fact that community service is an integral part of our Deen. We will reflect on examples of Sahabas and others throughout Islamic history as well as contemporary examples. The types of volunteerism (direct, indirect, advocacy, etc.), and the benefits one can realize in the Duniya as well as the Akhirah by making volunteerism a habit will also be covered, in sha Allah.
