A motif doesn’t become complete immediately.
At least, I can’t do that.
I don’t have the ability to turn an idea into a finished form.
So I thought about something more basic.
Before music, there must be a shape.
Before expression, there must be an outline.
Like drawing.
Before color, before detail, there is only a sketch.
What I made today is not music.
It’s a draft.
A rough shape of a track that might never become anything.
But maybe I need to learn how to sketch
before I can even talk about creating music.

I'm planning to upload videos of myself creating music using a software called Ableton.
I have no background in music, no knowledge, and no talent.
I'm not doing this to become a musician. I just want to see what lies at the end of small daily efforts.
Music is just the method I happened to choose—it could have been anything else.
But perhaps there's a reason I ended up choosing music.
