Описание: Police have averted a deadly terror attack in Mombasa and recovered 7 powerful bombs, six hand grenades and over 270 rounds of ammunition from a car that was intercepted in Changamwe. Bomb experts took over 12 hours to disconnect and remove the explosives that were fitted under the seats and dashboard of the vehicle. And as Sylvia CHEBET reports, two suspected al-Qaeda terrorists were arrested while ferrying the explosives to Mombasa. A senior detective privy to the investigations said the suspects were planning to attack one of the malls.
