Phalut is the second highest peak of West Bengal,India. Part of Singalila Ridge in the Himalayas, it is located at the border of the Indian States of West Bengal and Sikkim and of Nepal.We started our journey from Siliguri.
Overnight we stayed at Gorkhey. Gorkhey is a gorgeous valley in the district of Darjeeling. It is situated strategically between Darjeeling and Sikkim, and it is one of those rare places that's still untouched by tourism. Surrounded by pine forests and a small river flowing through it known as Gorkhey khola.
