This is a flight from a class D to another class D, but we'll be picking up flight following on the ground with ground control. Because of this, we'll already be in the ATC's system when we depart and calling the departure controller will be very simple compared to the CAT-05 where we had to "cold call" the departure controller as they knew nothing about us.
