http://www.mslaw.edu Police suicide is three times the rate of average americans. Police officers live in a state of constant threat and their guard is always up.
In this excerpt from the Massachusetts School of Law's Educational Forum on Law and Law Enforcement, Associate Dean Michael L. Coyne speaks with four police chiefs, Chief Ronald A. Sellon, Chief Kenny Howell, Chief Paul Tucker, and Chief Lisa Holmes, about the physical and emotional deterioration officers are faced with as a result of hypervigilance.
The Massachusetts School of Law also presents information on important current affairs to the general public in television and radio broadcasts, an intellectual journal, conferences, author appearances, blogs and books.
THE MASSACHUSETTS SCHOOL OF LAW IS NEW ENGLAND’S MOST AFFORDABLE AND DIVERSE LAW SCHOOL. We are dedicated to growing tomorrow’s leaders; empowering them with professional skills taught by instructors with real world experience, in a fun supportive campus environment.
