In this Injustice Gods Among Us Video, we summarize Patch 2.13 which got released Wednesday December 7th sometime in the evening when I was out seeing Moana.

This appears to be the patch of Rebirth's with three new challenges, Jessica Cruz Green Lantern(Early Access went live, I don't buy Early Access for cards that are coming out in less than a day), Raven, and Wally West The Flash.

Isn't it great that Injustice is having ALL reskin characters, and nobody new?

The biggest update to the game lies in the Break Through Mechanic, which requires a maxed out Level 50 Elite VII card, and you can then promote a single card once per objective, which refreshes every 24 hours, I assume that it rotates Bronze, Silver, Gold, one per day at 7pm EST.

You CANNOT level a card to 60 until Elite X.

And the gift of Airplane Mode on 100 Credit Booster Packs IF you need Injustice 2 Aquaman, Suicide Squad Harley Quinn, or Bounty Hunter Lobo(Why? This one sucks), and let me tell you, just like the other booster packs, you're going to have to Airplane this like 100 times to even have a chance of getting one of these Gold cards. Stop doing this crap, just like stop offering Booster Packs on MKX with a CHANCE of a card, we are just going to Airplane Mode it until we get what we want.

The Break Through mechanic is a 3 Battle matchup for the Bronze cards, and not that hard. Health does NOT carry over between matches, so think defensively. It also costs ALL of your energy, which makes no sense since there are 115 other cards you can use.

Cloak of Destiny is live again, and I plan on getting one on Android. Expect a livestream on Sunday for some farming. And expect the new Jessica Cruz challenge to be streamed around 5pm EST, followed by the Mortal Kombat X Challenge, on Thursday December 8th.
