Galactic Energy has completed a full static fire test of the Pallas-1 rocket’s second stage, powered by the Cangqiong-1V vacuum kerolox engine. This successful test marks a key step toward flight readiness. At the same time, the company is assembling the Ceres-2 orbital launcher for an upcoming mission.
Pallas-1 is a reusable, medium-lift rocket using seven Cangqiong-1 engines on its first stage and a vacuum-optimized engine on its second stage. The test demonstrates progress in China’s private launch sector and the drive toward reliable reusability.
Ceres-2, the company’s smaller solid-fueled orbital launcher, is also moving toward its next launch campaign. With both programs advancing, Galactic Energy is establishing itself as one of China’s leading commercial space companies.
