Return of the Bream – What a Day!
Join Team Squidward 3 as we take part in our first ever Return of the Bream competition at Sparkes Marina, Hayling Island — and what a belter it was!
In this video, we cover:
• The exact fishing marks we hit using Navionics Relief Shading
• The rigs and tackle we used, including the Cox & Rawle three-boom paternoster with size 2 Tango Match hooks
• A smart baiting trick using a homemade bait bomb (thanks Mike Cave!)
• Some incredible bream fishing action, with our best going 37cm
Big shoutout to Jon Challinor and the MDL marina crew for a brilliantly run event. Congrats to Jason Williams for taking the win with a 39cm slab, and hats off to Izzy and the Rods and Ribbons team for their standout performance and breast cancer awareness efforts.
