• University Square, a site of many historic protests.

Revolution Square, site where the Romanian people overthrew the Communist government that was led by Nicolae Ceauşescu.
Triumphal Arch, honors the Romanian soldiers who fought in WW I. Constructed in 1922
Palace of Parliament, a very expensive building constructed during terrible financial troubles for the Romanian people.1997.
National Cathedral, large church under construction.
