Performed on an original Louis Lot flute no 435. A ring-keyed, conical bored wooden Boehm flute from 1859, with a Dorus G sharp. Johannes Donjon was born in 1839 and was a pupil of Tolou at the Paris Conservatire. This flowing study is published by Amadeus Verlag (BP431).
Elizabeth Walker (www.lizwalker.co.uk) is a flute teacher at the specialist music school in Wells, and is grateful to have use on April 13th 2016 of the mediaeval Concert Hall (www.wellscathedralschool.org).
