INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of water
1 packet (10g) dashi powder
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp sake
3 tbsp sugar (add more if you prefer a sweeter broth)
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 lbs thinly sliced beef
Dashi and salt, to taste
Garnish with green onions and toasted sesame seeds
Other toppings: Onsen tamago and pickled ginger
