Welcome to the Lower East Side and the West 4th Street Station!

Описание: The lower part of Manhattan is old and so are the subway stations. Sometimes there aren't enough of them and sometimes you have one like the one at West 4th Street, 6th Avenue/Washington Square. This is a multi level station with four island platforms, eight tracks and seven subways running through it. The upper level is for blue subways/A, C, E. The lower level is for orange subways/B, D, F, M. In between is a mezzanine that seems to go forever. It runs several blocks under the neighborhoods as do the subway platforms above and below it. It's an enormous space and I just thought it was an interesting transfer station.
