Hi guys, Hi guys, Today’s Mass Make March session is all about turning scraps into something a little bit special. I grabbed a pile of leftover paper bits, some washi tape, and a stack of Amazon packaging that was definitely heading for the bin… and turned it into collage frames instead.
Because honestly, junk journaling is basically the fine art of looking at trash and saying: “Wait… I can use that.”
The base of these frames is recycled packaging cardboard, which makes them sturdy and perfect for layering. Then the fun begins — mixing paper scraps, washi tape, little textures and colors until each frame turns into a tiny collage of its own. They’re great for photos, journaling spots, or just adding a bit of layered interest to your pages.
And the best part? You don’t need anything fancy for this project. Just the pile of scraps you’ve been secretly saving and a box that once delivered something far less exciting than a junk journal.
So grab your scraps, rescue some packaging from the recycling bin, and let’s turn a bit of everyday trash into something worth keeping.
