Описание: Occupied Bed Making भनेको बिरामीलाई ओछ्यानमै राखेर, बिरामीलाई असुविधा नदिई सुरक्षित तरिकाले ओछ्यान मिलाउने नर्सिङ प्रक्रिया हो।
Occupied Bed Making is the nursing procedure of making a bed while the patient remains in bed, without causing discomfort.


🔹 Purpose / उद्देश्य
• To provide comfort to the patient

• To maintain cleanliness and hygiene
➤ सफाइ र स्वच्छता कायम राख्न
• To prevent infection
➤ संक्रमण रोक्न
• To protect patient’s skin
➤ बिरामीको छाला सुरक्षित राख्न

🔹 Articles Required / आवश्यक सामग्री
• Bed sheet — बेडसिट
• Draw sheet / Rubber sheet — ड्रसिट / रबर सिट
• Top sheet — टप सिट
• Blanket — ब्ल्यांकेट
• Pillow cover — तकिया कभर
• Soiled linen bag — फोहोर लिनेन झोला

🔹 Procedure / प्रक्रिया
1. Explain the procedure to the patient and wash hands.
➤ बिरामीलाई प्रक्रिया बुझाएर हात धुनुहोस्।
2. Adjust bed to comfortable working height.
➤ बेडको उचाइ मिलाउनुहोस्।
3. Turn the patient to one side (side-lying position).
➤ बिरामीलाई एकपट्टि फर्काउनुहोस्।
4. Loosen and fold the soiled bed sheet towards the patient.
➤ पुरानो सिट खोल्दै बिरामीतर्फ फोल्ड गर्नुहोस्।
5. Place the clean bed sheet (folded) on the exposed side.
➤ नयाँ सिट फोल्ड गरी खुला भागमा राख्नुहोस्।
6. Turn the patient to the other side.
➤ बिरामीलाई अर्कोपट्टि फर्काउनुहोस्।
7. Remove the soiled linen and place it in the linen bag.
➤ पुरानो सिट हटाई फोहोर लिनेन झोलामा राख्नुहोस्।
8. Spread and secure the clean bed sheet properly.
➤ नयाँ सिट राम्रोसँग फैलाएर कुनाहरू मिलाउनुहोस्।
9. Place draw sheet/rubber sheet if required.
➤ आवश्यक परे ड्रसिट / रबर सिट राख्नुहोस्।
10. Place top sheet and blanket; ensure patient comfort.
➤ टप सिट र ब्ल्यांकेट राखेर बिरामीलाई आरामदायी बनाउनुहोस्।
11. Change pillow cover and position pillow properly.
➤ तकिया कभर फेरेर ठीकसँग राख्नुहोस्।
12. Make the patient comfortable and tidy the unit.
➤ बिरामी सहज बनाइ बेड वरिपरि सफा गर्नुहोस्।
13. Ask patient about comfort and wash hands.
➤ बिरामीलाई सोधेर हात धुनुहोस्।
