P2302 IGNITION COIL 1 SECONDARY CIRCUIT - INSUFFICIENT IONIZATION simply indicates short burn time. This is just a fancy name or code for "misfire" condition. The engine was recently replaced with a crate motor when this started happening. The customer indicated he is also losing injector pulse on the same cylinder. Customer indicated that he checked the wiring to and from the ignition coil and the fuel injector and all seems good. No connection issues or broken wires that he could see.

Here are the possible causes according to the manufacturer.
FUSED ASD RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN/HIGH RESISTANCE
COIL CONTROL 1 CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
COIL CONTROL 1 CIRCUIT OPEN/HIGH RESISTANCE
SPARK PLUG
IGNITION COIL
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)
