In the 1971 India vs Pakistan war, something unbelievable happened in Rajasthan. Pakistan had 45 modern tanks. India had just 2 jeeps.
But Indian Army officer Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri made a brilliant master plan.
Because there were not enough real landmines, he told soldiers to bury normal tiffin boxes in the sand. From far away, Pakistani soldiers thought they were real landmines. They stopped their tanks and waited all night.
By morning, Indian HAL HF-24 Marut fighter jets attacked and destroyed the tanks.
Today, many of those Pakistani tanks are displayed in Indian war museums.
This is one of the smartest war strategies in Indian military history.
