Only 235 had been traced, leaving 572 unaccounted for. Among them were 191 children, mostly teenage girls. Adults formed the largest group, with 435 still missing. The numbers reflect a continuing pattern: over 24,000 people went missing in 2025 and more than 2 lakh in the past decade, with over 50,000 still untraced.
