🗓️Our current streaming schedule (a timezone based one can be found on the website):
Wednesday - Sunday 05:30am Central European Time until around 16:15 (most of the time we do bonus sessions though so even later)

🍅Our Pomodoro Study Technique:
Productive Sessions are 30 Minutes, short breaks are 5 minutes, every 4 work sessions we do a long break of 30 minutes. We do not chat or talk during study sessions, however breaks are my favourite time to talk to everyone!
I have added a vote bot so that we vote before every session whether there should be rain, fireplace, or no sounds for each study session.

❓Where are you from/How old are you/What do you do
I am half Irish and half Turkish, 26 years old, and a 5th year medical student in Italy doing an MD (MBBS does not require a dissertation, it's a more academic degree)

❓Why do you do shorter work sessions of 30 Minutes?
We are studying for 10+ hours most days, lots of little breaks and the long breaks helps us stay refreshed towards the end of the day. At the start it may seem annoying to have your work interrupted, but 10 hours in your study sessions will be much more efficient compared to if you weren't taking breaks. It's also easier to push through the last few hours when you know you have a break coming up so soon. (Also all research points towards it being more effective)

❓What is the pinned code?
It is for an app called forest where you set timers on your phone to plant virtual trees, joining with the code (requires premium version) allows you to plant other peoples trees :)

❓Why is your cat so loud?
Mr. Chonks has always been a talkative cat but I've recently rescued him from the street so he's getting used to a new environment and circumstances making him a little distressed. The vet said it's normal and should start slowing down within a few weeks (hopefully)

❓What are your hobbies?
Well tbh I'm really getting into streaming and youtubing. I've always wanted to be a doctor and a youtuber ever since I was a kid. I'm starting a 2nd channel where I'll be vlogging about Italy and studying medicine, so I think that will be my full time hobby soon :)

❓How many languages can you speak?
I'm fluent in English and Turkish, and can speak "enough" Italian

❓You've been working on a website for a while, what's it about?
I wanted to create a free and unbiased resource for students who study medicine in Italy. So we've been working hard to create a website to help students: www.acadimat.com

❓What do you do in your free time?
Tbh with the new streaming schedule I don't have a lot of free time at the moment so I tend to do chores, grocery shopping, cooking, a little reading and perhaps watching tv shows 😅

❓You don't eat on stream so when do you eat?
I practice intermittent fasting, so only eat in the evening after stream has already ended
