In the 1.3 patch, Waddle Doo received buffs to his attack. I wanted to see how much of a difference it actually makes in City Trial. I play three City Trial games using Waddle Doo and place 1st in all three. Midgame, I rely on the Chariot to efficiently collect upgrade patches, then transition into the Battle Chariot for the endgame to dominate each final Stadium event.
After this patch, Waddle Doo still probably isn't meta but feels slightly stronger and genuinely fun to play. I'll still stick to my favorite character Magolor for most City Trial play but it was refreshing to use a different character.
