In the aftermath of the First Age, Middle-earth stands in quiet ruin — and yet beauty endures. A choice made long ago echoes across the sea: Elros is gone, and the Gift of Men is remembered in Lindon.

A Númenórean ship arrives through the morning mist. Old bonds stir. Old grief awakens.

And in the hands of Elves and Dwarves, a strange metal is brought into the light — a material that resists. Not with force, but as if asking to be understood.

Far in the East, in Rhûn, peace is proclaimed… and power begins to find its voice.

This is not the story of the Rings — not yet.
This is the world before them.
