After Redcat Beta axle testers provided feedback on the portal axles, Redcat updated the design to address some of the issues, namely the weak upper gear in the portals. This design change also required revised outer portal covers and new rear axles. Additionally, Redcat replaced the sintered metal spools with much more durable machined lockers. The new parts look much more robust, and should result in a very durable axle design.
