About 7-8 years ago I was lucky enough to be acquainted with DoctorM64, the developer of AM2R. Throughout the years he has been a true friend, who supported me both in my personal life and my music. He is also the most hardworking and dedicated person I know, single handily creating a massive game over the course of 10 years. Always chipping away, improving and expanding it, never giving up, all of this while supporting a family and a full time job. Today marks the 3rd anniversary of his ambition and here is my celebration!

To be given the opportunity to compose and create music for AM2R was nothing short of amazing and important to my development as a musician. It was scary and at times very difficult. But the result was worth it, and I was especially happy with the medley that I made for the soundtrack release. Titled "SR388", this track covers nostalgic melodies from the original Metroid II, and marries some of the melodies with my own from AM2R. It remains simple, but as I was a fresh pianist and DAW user, I'm proud of my efforts back then. Here is my synthesia tutorial/visualization of my remastered version, I hope you guys enjoy it!
