Sydney's Best Driving Roads - Royal National Park

Описание: Royal National Park is a national park in New South Wales, Australia, starting 29 km south of Sydney CBD.It is known to many enthusiasts as simple the "Nasho" and is easily one of the best stretches of road around Sydney.

Some general info:

Coming from Sydney, turn-off at Farnell Ave from Princes Hwy/Acacia Rd to enter the Nasho. Alternately, continue down Princes Hwy towards Waterfall and you'll eventually come to another turn-off which probably has more twisties. Continue on past Sea Cliff Bridge to head to Bulli and Wollongong or turn back and get on the Southern Fwy for a quick route back to Sydney.

Cops pretty much live here since "the incident" (google crazy carlo if you dont know what I'm talking about), which is a shame. There's a few long straights and I know its tempting to put the hammer down but resist unless you feel like donating to a friendly patrol car waiting in the shrubs.

It is usually not that busy past Bundeena except during the day on weekends and public holidays. Best bet is to go early morning or around dusk if you want a traffic-free run. If you're really game you can go at night, but BEWARE the kamikaze animals. A deer on your windscreen at 3 in the morning is not an enjoyable experience.

If your car is very low, you may have some issues brushing the frontend on a few of the slower corners. Nothing too nasty, but just keep that in mind.

This is a public road......so enjoy the twisties and the scenery but please don't wrap your car around a tree by driving like an idiot. /rant
