Takeoff aborted due to runway incursion
On September 12, 2024, Alaska Airlines flight 369 (ASA369) was instructed by local traffic control to line up on Runway 13 to prepare for takeoff to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Meanwhile, Southwest Airlines flight 2029 (SWA2029) was told by ground control to cross Runway 13 and proceed to Runway 20C to prepare for takeoff to Jacksonville International Airport.
After aborting the takeoff, as the Alaska Airlines flight was waiting for an open gate, all four main landing gear tires deflated, forcing passengers to de-plane via the air stairs on the ramp.
