Grup A1 - Neptünlü Sevgilim (1979)

Описание: Grup A1 (sometimes referred as Grup A) was founded by Alpay at the end of the 1970’s. Unfortunately, not much is known about the band. They released a single in 1979, titled Yeşil Gözler Sürmeli / İçimde Dinmez Sızısın, which was composed by Zafer Sağlıksever. Alpay recorded 4 of his albums with them during the 80’s. Neptünlü Sevgilim has probably never been released as a single, but it stands out as one of the most strange and unique songs of that era. Basically a psychedelic rock song, it features a female vocalist and utterly fantastic and futuristic lyrics that are in both Turkish and English. At the end of the song, Alpay says “Finally she learned Turkish and I learned ‘Neptunese.’ Now I am very happy with my girlfriend in Neptune.”
