Nickel Plate Road 765: Steam In The Valley 2021 (4K)

Описание: While I didn't regret seeing 261 over 765 in 2019, I did regret skipping Steam In the Valley. Planning on making it a priority in 2020, it was canceled. But I got my chance in 2021, and decided to go all out for my 5th anniversary. Two weekends of the chase with the locomotive that started it all, enjoy my 5th anniversary chase!

Before the debate over the whistle starts, 765 was wearing the Coke Commercial Whistle, which is a Steel Nathan 6 from an unknown Nickel Plate Road Berkshire.

After skipping the 2019 edition of Steam in the Valley, and seeing how fantastic it went i always regretted that. And seeing how it got canceled in 2020, I decided for 2021 I was going all out with this. And at first I didn't realize I would be covering two weekends of the event, it grew into this. Steam in the Valley was the first major Railfan event this channel covered. Covering spots I have wanted since 2016, this video of Nickel Plate Road 765 is personally my favorite video I have shot so far. With sunny weather both weekends, 765 put on a show in the Valley and it was enjoyed by all. From the popular spots, to hiking into some shots, I legit feel this is so far my favorite video. The first weekend I covered Friday-Sunday, while the second I just did Saturday & Sunday. It was also great times, with many great people along the road. A big thank you to all who made this enjoyable and I hope you all enjoy this video!

This past weekend I changed plans to completely to see the last run for now, of the Iowa Interstate 6988, as she pulled two last trains on the 22nd & 23rd, which was fantastic, and a great way to end 15 years of off and on again operations on the Railroad. The next few weekends are going to be busy, and I need to continue editing. This up coming weekend if all goes well, I will finally get to see 425 one last time this year during the Fall Foliage Season. While not the two weekends I was hoping for, I still plan on having a great two. And then there is charters after that. So stay tuned! And hope you all enjoy. Two weekends of being there, meant I ran into a lot of people. I chased with Big Banana Railfan, Jmuddy, Keeper of Steam & Business Car Ten Productions the first weekend, while the second it was Business Car Ten Productions again, and Lanes Trains & O-18a Productions the second weekend.
