This song is about the dizzying, hollow pursuit of desire and distraction, capturing the rock star lifestyle where temporary gratification replaces genuine connection. In my professional story, this era represents the sudden, overwhelming exposure to Hollywood excess and the objectification that came with it.
The scene begins at the high-stakes UK Premiere of The Wolf of Wall Street, where the world's eyes locked on me overnight. It then descends into a chaotic montage, mixing iconic, hedonistic scenes from The Wolf of Wall Street with the dizzying, decadent world of Babylon. It captures the intoxicating rush of being the "bombshell" and the realization that the chase for fame and glamour can leave you utterly empty.
It’s the brick built from fleeting desires and the hollowness of a glamorous façade.
